As a college student, i got sick of always living on a tight budget. So i was looking into making more money on the side. If you have knowledge on everyday items, its so easy and simple to make money. I make 3 times more a month on ebay than i do working a regular job( I have a regular job just for the social aspect of it). Just going on craigslist a couple times a day, i could turn 100 bucks into 200-300 on average without even breaking a sweat. Last year i bought a box of 12 playstation 1 games for 5 bucks at a yard sale, turned it around and sold the lot on ebay for $1100 bucks. Thats how simple it is.

Theres money just sitting there waiting for you to grab it. In this day and age, people are at their laziest but have the most easy access to make money(internet) but dont use it to their advantage.

I am with you 100%. My $600 motorcycle purchase back in 2005 started my hustle and I was able to keep trading and selling up, owning 8 motorcycles and 5 mustangs during the process. Now I'm at a halt with my 98 cobra faleen that I bought using the profit I made throughout the way [Wink]

Most people dont know this, but a good amount of ps1 games are gold mines. Mostly RPG's but theres sealed games that go for 200+ on ebay. If you can find black cased final fantasy games, they go for 60-150.

Not my auction but that was one of the games i sold, most wouldnt even look at that as valuable if you saw it in person. Infact, i just bought a GH final fantasy VII at a goodwill for a buck

Another easy money maker is ipods, Ipods are in high demand and people give them away on craigslist for dirt cheap all the time. Sell them on ebay for atleast double of what i paid for them as is.

I do this all the time, I've been doing it since 2001. My rule of thumb is if you aren't going to double your money don't do it. On a side note EBay's fees have been going up but still beats seeing stuff locally.

I offered that among other services a while back for free. They were not interested. Unfortunately I am much too busy now to do it, if they would decide to.

This is much different than what the OP is saying makes beaucoup bucks middlemanning used shit on the web.

You're actually being productive member of society not just some scab jacking up the costs of used goods to make 10 bucks here and there.

seriously the OP is speaking the truth. I bought some ps1 stuff at a garage sale and had some of my own stuff and final fantasy 7 was in that bunch. I got $85 for the game because it was almost in new condition and still had the receipt in it from the 90's. Ive bought and sold nintendo games, action figures etc.

shit I bought some star wars figures at a garage sale awhile ago,got the whole lot for $5 and made $180 on that set.

some of you may remember a while back i yanked the recently rebuilt front end off of my 67 when i went to the new setup. had a few folks interested here but no takers I was all the way down to $250 for everything.

finally I got tired of people flaking and it sat and i parted the suspension and steering out piece by piece, low and behold I sold everything for a very modest price and got almost $1200 for the whole front end.

if you dig around and know how to use Ebay it can be a money maker,I personally get burned out quickly because of people who pay for something on a tuesday dont read the add which says" orders will be shipped the friday following payment" then thursday I get a message asking where their shit is?lol. if you can handle the multiple trips to the post office and dealing with people Ebay is def. profitable!

Same here. To me, nothing beats the feeling after you check your ebay account at the end of the day and find out you got $1500+ dollars sitting there with a day left on the auctions. Theres no surprise element in working a regular job like that because you know how much youre making.
