Hey guys, I'm trying to see if I can sell my car and upgrade to something newer or just something different. I want to know what you think a fair price is REALLISTICALLY. I do owe some money on it but I think that it would be worth my asking price; only hard to find the buyer to pay it in this area in this economy.
I just see a lot of $7-9,000 Mustangs here and on Craigslist with twice the miles, no paint needing work etc so I want to know what to base my pricing on.
It's got most simple mods, and most stock parts and a few things I didn't list that are sitting at home like new drilled/slotted rotors and new rear upper control arms.
Thanks CAFords for the help.

1. Work and personal are two separate things. 2. I don't make prices on cars that I sell for my work, which would be why I was asking for advice. I don't want your help selling my car I was asking the polite people what they thought about price. 3. Since the once I posted in general talk all I've done for posting is a Vendors thread that I updated and you don't have to click on it if you don't want to. 4. I don't need to beg but I think it's funny that you wouldn't want to buy a car at invoice or better or cost on a used car if you could and skip the salesman process or not leave the comfort of your home until you have the right number.
Thanks for your input though.

What's the reasoning behind 7k?
My biggest ideas for lower price would be automatic, convertible, lightly modded?

I sold one in similar condition with a pro charger and way more mods for 8k, your dreaming if you think you can get 12k, I wouldn't pay more than 6 or 7. Good luck none the less.

In the streets that's how much they are really worth. 12k is Mach 1 prices, 3 k more and you can find some 03 cobras.
Only people I think that would pay that is some older people or somebody that is buying there first mustang.

I think it would be tough to get more than $7k for this car given that its a run of the mill GT. Hell, even that might be tough.
I think $6k is more like it since the mileage is low (which doesn't matter THAT much since its just not that desirable in the first place).
Best of luck. [ 2013-06-16, 09:13 PM: Message edited by: Luke87GT ]

Your smoking some good shit thinking 12k is a good price. Its a mustang. Not a lot of people want. If you get 7k you ripped someone off.
Do you come from the honda world? All those ricers add every dollar they ever invested and think they will get it back. Good luck. Lol

Sounds like this car is immaculate and taken cared for. Unfortunately, its an auto which I think alone brings its interest down. If ur hoping to sell it fast, I dint see this selling for more than 7k. If ur patient, maybe some will pay more. 68k miles is pretty low
