I've been considering taking the EFI route myself lately on my 67 mustang. I've looked at this kit and others being that its so new not many reviews on it. I like the F.A.S.T kit myself and most likelt will be putting one on my 410w. Check it out.

that looks like a pretty cheap and easy kit for typical carb conversions.

Not completely sure if it does or not, But I know they have a multi-port kit that might be able to support your application.

Yeah I agree seriouslu conserding it for my build no more tuning a carb and can drive it anywhere. Just gotta pick the right cam for this kit.

Very cool setup. I'd go this route if they could support more power. That's the one issue that I consistently have when I research these EFI systems.

Can't argue with you on that the less under the hood the better looks a lot cleaner.

I think its a pretty fair price for what your getting and the reliable you get out of it. If you look at it from the carb perspective yes it is expensive, but if you don't want to tune a carb for the conditions your in this is a good solution. Gotta pay to play.

changing jets is not that hard and you dont REALLY need to change em unless the temp is crazy-cold or crazy-hot. I dont drive my car in either of those conditions anyways. $2300 for a system that supports such limited power is not worth it IMO

I agree jets are super simple to deal with my last motor was carbed with a QFT on top, but it would also be nice not to half to tune the carb and let the computer do the work, but with everything there are pro and cons.

Well, since it's a new product, you can't really tout that it's reliable since no one has really run one yet. Considering how many people have problems with MSD boxes dying on them, I don't know I'd go around saying this is more reliable.
Also, I really wish people would quit saying, "You get what you pay for." Price is no indication of quality. Some jackass can charge $1000 to tune your car, it doesn't mean it's better than someone who knows what he's doing who's only charging $500.
As for a carb style EFI setup, there are others out there that have an established reputation and are cheaper.

I'm not interested in the msd set up its to new to trust, But the fast system has great reviews and supports up to 600 HP and runs about 1900 bucks.
I don't judge price with qulity, but the difference between a nice product vs a ok product that's when u get what you pay for.

I seen that msd unit while at sema. It looked very impressive but I might wait for some other people to spend the money to find out how well it works. right now the kool-aid on the hot rodding boards seems to be:
Hillborn efi, factory efi, F.A.S.T. easy EFI, professional products powerjection series.
I know everyone is like "professional products?" Thats how i was at first but they have come up with a very easy to use,install,self contained system. I remember someone saying you hook up a few wires and its pretty much done. no external computer to mount or anything! its elf contained, and for those that dont want to run a return line they even have a fuel pump pulse module. im kind of waiting to see what pans out. not really wanting to go factory EFI or hillborn due to cost but the F.A.S.T. and pro-product kits have my attention one of those on top of a single plane manifold may be a nice setup,even for street driving.

from what i been kinda reading its a mixed review on prof. product fuel injection. It takes a long time to get it adjusted correctly.

If I was going to put together a 4150 style EFI, I'd probably go with an Accel DFI throttle body ($370) a single plane MPI intake ($400 w/injectors and rails) and a megasquirt controller ($500).
I've got a friend that ran a GM 2-bbl TBI with a megasquirt on a 390 and it ran great.

looks like you may have to buy a new DIZZY when running the msd setup unless a harness is available for you existing setup. Using a pulse pump for your car is okay but will limit choices for upgrading the fuel system if theirs doesnt suffice!
