Yesterday I saw 4 fighter jets flying over head in Fairfield.

I have seen two F-18's escort a small single engine plane back towards the direction of the oakland airport once......maybe flew to close to something and they got the jets to intercept him to see whats going on.

The President usually doesn't get a fighter escort over the US, but when and if he does, it's usually 2 fighters... when i worked at the airport, every time the Pres. or Vice Pres. came in to town, if there was an escort it was 2.
