49ers fans spread the word and help this kid get what he deserves! This guy is a BEAST! Not bad for only playing 4 years of ball in his life before this season. He didn't start playing until he was a Jr. in High school and only played 2 years of College.

Already voted...for Cam Newton. Not hating on Aldon or the 49ers, but Cam is the ROTY! I'd give Aldon the defensive ROTY, but not the overall ROTY.

He had 4, but I'd give it to Aldon before Peterson. Only 1 of the returns was super beastly.

Yeah Cam gets all the HYPE, but sorry just like Baseball I don't think a ROTY award should go to a non-playoff and 6-10 losing record team. Yes he makes the team much better, but he doesn't make them a good team. Also Aldon Smith was just named Rookie of the month for the second time this season 2 out of 3 months = Rookie of the year, especially since he got snubbed for the Pro Bowl.

Really cam newton? His team was 5-11 put up great numbers but made a ton of mistakes and Patrick Peterson was schooled but crabtree and most wide recievers this year. Aldon smith was one sack away from breaking the rookie sack record on a winning team with an elite defense.

Cam newton is the rookie of the year easily.. Its not his fault his team sucks! Saying he does not deserve it is like saying cause someone did not win a superbowl they should not be in the hall of fame....
