We will see how it runs.
393 (coast high kit) stock block, standard bore just brush honed ported patriot heads 304 at .600 on the intake and 228 at .600 on the exhaust (would have went with cnc victor jrs but stuck with patriots so made use of them) tfs stage 3 cam I (will go to custom cam down the road)
nearly 11 to one compression.
Guy wanted all motor car and is hoping for 400hp on motor and then of course spray it to the moon.

Yeah should make 400. The 392 ford crate motor makes 475@5600 with a little less cylinder head unless you opt for the cnc ported option.
The FMS crate motor is 6,700 at a player price.
This guy has about 4300 into his. [ February 08, 2010, 05:34 PM: Message edited by: turbo50 ]

Hopefully TWO STANGS doesnt see this "paint job rebuild lol"
Anyway on a lighter note the guy sent me some more pics of his progress with the 393 I built him. It has 2 inch headers and they are NICE. Gonna have to have my fab guy fix one of the primary (#8) tubes, however.

Dan, what headers are those? I may be upgrading (finally) from my BBK shorties, now that I have a tubular K-member in the 93 and have clearance.

So it made 390 at the wheels and works out to 10.3:1 compression and with smaller bbk 1 3/4 headers because he had too many headaches with the kooks headers....it was starving for fuel so that was a shut off pull.
Should make the 400 at the wheels the owner had hoped for, no sweat.
Even more if he went with a solid roller cam.....but what do I know. [ September 04, 2011, 02:54 AM: Message edited by: turbo50 ]

Nice! Looks like there's a lot if room in the engine compartment too. I dropped mine in the 65 last week and it's really tight. Hoping to get it all hooked up and running sometime this month. Bigger question on that 393w... How much torq and what rpm?
