I have a Rpm2 I need to open up to 75mm, what tool can I use to make this easy, I do not have an air compressor, but can buy a small one as they are only $60 at harbor frieght, I tried my rotary tool but it didn't work. I've never been to harbor freight but I'd think I could get what I need there. [ July 29, 2011, 02:04 PM: Message edited by: BackwardSnake ]

Might end up cheaper having someone do it for you if you are gonna have to tool up for just one job, but harbor freight should have what you need at a good price , maybe an electric rotary tool would be best so you don't have to buy a compressor .

Right on, but I'm not even going to pull it off the car to do it, thanks though.

I would pulle the upper off. You don't want to get metal inside your motor.

I plugged it with wet rags, I bought a 3 gallon air from harbor freight but it isn't enough to run a grinder so I'll be taking it back for an electric one, the electric one is to big to do on car so I'm going to have to pull it.

Thank god, that aluminum gets everywhere. The 10 minutes to pull the upper is not worth the risk!

Finished it all up Friday, used an electric die grinder from Harbor Freight, only cost $35, it came out good, really glad I pulled the intake off, it made it pretty easy.
