Yeah bcuz the chrome was all faded and stained.. Could polish it back to shine... IMO this will look 10 times better... Atleast for the time being...

You are right in most cases... But have you ever heard of Duplicolor Shadow?? Its supposed to give chrome a "black Chrome" and in the instructions it says "DO NOT SAND surface unless you want a "ruff looking surface in your final outcome"... Im starting to think I should have just painted them.. lol

Soooo... I didnt like the way the "shadow" looked on my wheels... It gave them a green tint... So heres what I did, I scuffed up that paint so that the black will.have something to stick to.. ,, 3 coats of black, 3 coats of clear... Heres the outcome
