Author Topic: Ram hdx clutch? Stangn5oh ¯ Member # 10875 posted                        I have a 89 gt hatch, w/ 306, wc t5, 3:73,mild bolt ons,lil suspension. Im looking to get the stage 2 ram hdx clutch kit from american muscle for $190. I know u need to resurface your flywheel when u replace your clutch, but im goanna get a new oem flywheel. now when i was goanna order it the guy told me that i HAVE TO get a $250 steel flywheel, i responded w/ i heard its recomended but not neccasary. the guy still said that i have to. K so i kno 2 ppl that installed the same clutch and one resurfaced and the other got a new oem and they have no problem. i think he tried to upsale. anybody have input? -------------------- 88 lx 17 Renegade turbo 18 Compass 4x4 Hit the gasser, go faster, all u heard was dual exhaust n flowmasters.
