Sooo I was bored today and headed over to PNP. Passed by a front end collision fox, and decided to take a gander. Found that it had PERFECT quarter glass and window moldings. I mean like from the factory prefect, even tinted already. I grabbed my small Snap-On kit from my car and returned to remove the trim. I get the window trims off no problem. And start tearing apart the rear plastics to get to the bolts for the rear glass. Removed them all, and get the window ALMOST popped out. I'm super stoked being they are 15 bucks a piece. It's being a bit stubborn, so pull out my panel popper set, ever so slightly pry and BAAAM, glass everywhere! I'm fucking livid at this moment, and realize my eye is watering like crazy and hurts like a muuuuuuffffffukkkkaaaa. So I get pissed and bash the other one out. I figure if I can't have them no one can... Aaaaand now I gotta go to the emergency room cause I got glass in my eye. Cool story right? [ July 07, 2011, 08:45 PM: Message edited by: MikeD. ]

Funny thing is I'm the fat kid with glasses, I came factory with eye protection. I'm good now! Just a flush, some numbing drops and a swab with a cue tip. Its a little irritated now but it doesn't hurt! [ July 07, 2011, 11:14 PM: Message edited by: MikeD. ]

Holy shit I had something similar happen to me, the glass in the eye part LOL. I was at a buddys glass shop, they were installing rear glass in a 55 bel air, tricky install with the rubber gasket. I was standing about 20 feet away as they were struggling with the seal when BOOM it shatters. I think fuck that sucks, and start giving my buddy the shop owner a good ball busting and thats when I notice it feels like sand in my eye and now shit's all blurry. I goto the ER, glass was all gone but I had a nice scratch right across the cornea in my line of vision. Some eye drops a a week of looking like a pirate and all was fine.
