well the site isnt made for dummys like me i found out you need new
FAST coolant temp sensor, Intake air temp
new boosh injector pigtails
inline fuse 2,5,10,20 amp fuse
and to put all your injectors in series
i ll do a better write up with pics and for $650 we will see how good a custom EFI set up is

i also built a megasquirt efi system i originally built it for a lincoln im building but now im going a different route. i saw a ff cobra with a ms setup on the dyno and it worked great.

Check out Diyautotune.com super helpful and good prices along with software to be able to tune the comp yourself. They also have an adaptor the wires the megasquirt to a connector that will allow you to plug it into your stock wiring harness(assuming you have a 5.0) pretty cool stuff , also if you build it yourself you'll save a bunch of money , all you need is a soldering iron and some patience

from what i hear it is good look up Youtube cars alot are no jokes pretty good software. i got "purple notch" if anyone knows that car it has a 331 built AFR 185s ported and intake and novi 2000 with power pipe. when i got it, it ran but not good the car always needed a good tune. i was told by a big racer that does 8 second cars that he's worked with it and liked it. it loose's your MAF, MAP and all the crap you dont need. and now all my wires are tucked away and all you see is motor and blower i like clean engine bays without crap and wires. i think its better to use this cus $650 and some cheap GM sensors is cheaper then $2500 for big stuff 3. and it controls everything and i can data log my car and watch everything on my laptop in the car, and control my MSD 6al box and coil. i ll load pics of the project once i find my camera. then its off to the dyno after a base tune and some street tuning.

Your getting rid of the map sensor? Can you tune alpha n with boost? And you don't have to use fast sensors you can use the stock ford sensors if you wanted, just would have to tell the computer the ranges and stuff

you can but all my stock stuff the clips were broken off and GM are alittle more accurate, as far as my tunner says. and i m setting it to a speed density tune lol i ll have fun trying to go over the grape vine on the next ride out but i ll have the lap top to help out. not knocking BS3 just heard from guys that went 8's and 9's said its easy, good, and as i m finding out kinda simply

When megasquirt can support coil on plug for a v10 I wouldn't have an issue running it on my next project. The new ms3 can now do cop for a v8 and sequential too I believe , so I might not have to wait for long! Plus you don't have to buy any special software to be able to tune your own ecu. Basically pays for itself by not have to buy a separate tuner and then you still can't tune it your self without specialty software

lol shit aint bad i m sure they can tapper the software around what you have i called and told them all of mine and the had to build my mother board. but i m sure it wasnt anything fancy
i m gonna take alot of pics and how toos ant to buy so others can do it with ease. and once it gets tune and i learn all that i can from the soft ware i ll give it my own re-view, and if it dosent live up to dummy proof i ll give it a thumbs down and by a BS3 but i m sure others will give it a good re-view and i m sure it wont fail me

ahh you shoulda built it way more fun and if anything were to ever go wrong with it you could fixed it no problem

Well, considering it's going on an engine that was designed in 1961 and hasn't changed very much, I guess it's pretty high tech in comparison.
