Finally lowered my car a few weeks ago and got around to getting if off jackstands. IMO it doesn't really look lowered much, if at all.
I left the isolators out of the front of the car, and when I did the rear I decided to keep them in based off what I've heard about noises etc.
Does everyone else remove isolators on their cars? If you did remove them did you notice any excessive noise?
Anyhow, I'm going to work on polishing up my HRE's and once all this snow melts and get it ready for the dyno in Spring.

I always leave the isolators out and no noise problems

Take them out. U will be ok. Also if the springs are brand new they need time to settle.

Guess I'll be taking them out..
Unfortunately I am living on the East Coast for the time being.
I grew up in Roseville but haven't lived there for years.

Hey there!
It doesn't hurt to take out the isolators. Just understand that every now and then you'll hear a popping noise ( completely normal )
Also, if you're looking for more low, there are other alternatives. A lot of people usually cut the rear factory springs on IRS equipped cars, and install Steeda ball joints on front lowering springs to match the height of the rear. resulting in a "slammed" or "flush" look, so to speak. ( steeda ball joints lower the car 1/2 an inch if you opt for not using the supplied spacer plates. )

Hey JohnCM,
A lot of people have good results with the H&R springs. We have a customer with the H&Rs and a convertible and it pretty much deleted all fender/tire gap. He's also running 275/40r17 and 315/35r17 tires.
