I just recently purchased a 99 saleen convert from Zen Auto Sales and both owners were absolutely a pleasure to work with.
I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that they currently have 2 GT500 KRs available for sale. They started one up and it sounded absolutely bad @$$. If anyone is in the market for them, feel free to reach out to Amir (one of the owners).

Glad you had a good experience with them. I stopped by there only once when I was looking a while back and those guys seemed hella shady to me.
I think I saw you test driving the car on Monday. You pulled up next to me. I was in a 04 Silver GT with a cobra decklid, lowered. Car sounded good!

I'm not going to lie...I was a little hesitant about the place at first, but once I met both of the owners, they are actually pretty cool cats and easy to work with.
I've been wanting a saleen conv. for years, and finally found a clean one with everything and low miles, that fit into my price range.
I'm definitely keeping the R clone. It has too much blood, sweat, and tears put into it to sell it. But you can't beat the convertible for during the summer.
I actually picked the car up on Monday and I do remember your silver GT. Nice car man. Hopefully I will be bringing 1 or both cars out for some cruises this summer.
