Yeah some of them will pass emission depending on what stage you get of either trickflow or afr's, I had afr185's part #1492 and they passed smog.

They both have smog legal models. Try and stay away from twist wedge trick flows unless you run their pistons.you have more cam options down the road.

trickflow twisted wedge's were designed to have the largest valve size with stock pistons, you can run many different cams with them.

could have been that i bought mine second hand and didnt really think about the fact that mine may have been milled by the previous owner but when i clayed the motor i didnt have nearly the same room i did with my afr's
