Pop the hood look at the motor make sure it looks clean no oil all over the place,,, and look underneath the car see if you see oil under the motor,trans an rear end(Thats Bad News). Last but not least test drive the car an make sure the trans is shifting smooth and the motor or car is not making any wierd sounds ![[patriot]](graemlins/patriot.gif)

Make shure the vaj. is nice clean, tight and wet.
Kidding(well kinda) aside umm I don't really know, but if it were me I'd check to see if theres damage to the frame, test drive it for her to see if it runs/ shifts smoothly like its suppose to with no type of sounds so keep that radio off and listen closely. Might be doing too much but idk that's just me with any car I buy.

There really are no problems with the v6's, extremely reliable and get good gas. The exhaust manifold WILL break at some point, just listen for leaks. Also throw out bearings go bad quite a bit on them if it's stick.
