Had a bad experience with Jaws Gear... took my 8.8 to have it completely built.. i had brand new Gears (FMS), Moser axles, 03 cobra differential, brand new Ford Racing complete bearing kit and brought the rear end to them out of the car to save some $$$.. Did all the compete break-in period and the whole time it whined and howled.. I called them and they couldnt do anything to help.. after a few thousand miles both wheel seals starting leaking.. gave them a call again and they said they could charge me 100 bucks to change them for me.. now it makes more noise and leaks still..
I was told they were the best place to have installs done but i had a bad experience with them..

Ask for shawn. He did my gears in the cobra a few years back and did a great job on them. No problems what so ever.
Tell him Nate sent you and he'll hook it up.

Not always benneficial to supply parts or save time/money. If not I'm sure you'd be under warranty. As it stands I'd assume they would charge you a diagnostic fee, then if it's on them they'd repair it at no charge, including diag etc. Had they done all the work I'm sure you'd just drive in, no questions asked. Goodluck either way.

Lol hey JohnB next time you're hauling or coming to CA you should work it out to use a friends garage (break him off a little $) and line up a few cars to do installs so you make a little $$$, it makes your trip more worth it lol. Nothing like working on vaca time. Ha.

Lol.. Jaws is the worst place in town.. And we will do the gears for ya.. If u supply the parts u will not save money and we do not warranty any parts we do not buy.. Pm me for price.. I will best any price jaws gives because of their crappy service and workmanship! We were running a special after they screwed us and pissed us off for (fms) gears, rebuild tracloc and install for $450.. But we are no longer running that special but I'll cut u a deal to help u out!
