my poor boat is damn near floating in the driveway.. this is what i want to be doing this weekend...hell with snowboarding..

i only go to berryessa since is 30 mins away.. and it's almost full... cant wait..

i love berryessa.. this year might suck for boating though... they just openend all the resorts back up, but if gas prices stay high boaters might be scared to be out on the lake. If you swimming and have no boat, weekdays are the best to be in the water. It turns kinda murky near the shores on weekends.

It's a lake. Nothing special except that it is the closest to the Bay. That's why so many cars get broken into. If you want a real lake head up North to Lake Shasta. In the middle of July while its 100 degrees on the water you can look up and see a snow cap on the Mountain. Water is Crystal clear and around 80 degrees in the summer. The lake is going to be huge this year. It has been an annual family trip for us for over 20 years. Anyhow, yeah enough of this rain!

I want to hit shasta.. its the drive that kills it.. not the best lake for day trips.

oh hell no, I wont take the drive unless minimum of 3 nights. The best thing to do is to rent a house boat for a week and split it between friends or family. We usually spend about 2500 - 3K for the week. We like the house boat because all of your stuff is with you at all times and we just tie up the jet ski's and boat to the house boat. I have been going there since I was a kid, this year will be the 1st for my son. Summertime is right around the corner.

Another 6 inches of snow last night. Its never snowed like this the past 5 years i've been here.
