Topic: What do you guys think of a black stripe on my white saleens?

Just want to see what you guys think. I installed my coil overs this past weekend and found some black pin stripe laying around so I wanted to see what it'd look like on my rims...
I'm personally not really feeling it and ended up not installing the stripe on the other 3 rims, but wanted to see what you guys think about it. opinions please ![[patriot]](graemlins/patriot.gif)

I personally like it. I think it goes with the theme of the car "white & black". Alought it is your car so only one opinon counts!

It think it's because these wheels don't have a stepped/defined lip. They are flush and look really clean with no interruption to the tire/body. I think it would be a very cool combo to see on other white wheels.

thats probably what it is...these wheels are very "smooth" so the addition of the stripe tries to break up the lines when in fact there is no line to break

ian, leave em alone..the only wheel upgrade id go w/ on your car is w/ a set of forged and/or 2/3 piece wheels. id say drop that hawaii money on a set of ccw's, true forged or iforged.

yeah I'm not a fan of the stripes either. The white rim with a stripe reminded me of the rims that are on my Wave Runner trailer. you know what, if you are looking for a little contrast. I'd say paint the calipers black, paint the COBRA letters white, "wet sand". Then hit it with at least 4 coats of clear. I think the letter's would pop. just my 2

yo jay...wanty to do the calipers for me? Your's came out sick and I have no time to do all that. I at least cleaned them off and hit them with a metal brush when I was doing the coilovers ![[Razz]](tongue.gif)
