I got my phone the other day and so far no dropped calls. Anybody else preorder it?

That's Jus Verizon service for you..I've had Verizon for 4 years now, no complaints..currently have a Droid incredible, my favorite phone so far..Wats the difference from Verizon iPhone and at&t?

Yeah I wanna know also kuz I have a SIM card from Verizon in my BB Tour would they not know if I get a iPhone and put my SIM card in it?

I did have a droid and BB next to an Iphone 4 and both phones picked up an extra bar of signal over the IP4. But the call quality on the Verizon IP4 is dramatically better compared to AT&T and no dropped calls with 6 hours of talk time. Verizon just solved the biggest flaw on an IP4.

From what my friend told me I think the iPhone 4's carry a special sim card but I could b wrong

The iphones do use a special sim card. And to the OP you should have waited there coming out with a better one soon. Next to that you have to use Verizon's 3G network cause the I4 doesnt support 4G. AND dont plan on going out of country and expect verizon to have service. AND you cant be on a phone call and check text or email etc, where as me with my AT&T IPhone can.

Don't listen to this guy! Lol I got my Verizon iPhone yesterday. And for the record I can and have viewed both txts and emails while talking on the phone. ![[Razz]](tongue.gif) and 4g capable or not this thing is a huge improvement vs the storm I had. Very fast. Love it!

I would rather have good reception and no dropped calls! and if im in another country is because im on vacation living it up, dont need nobody to be calling! ![[Whoo Whooooo!]](graemlins/woowoo.gif) ... My sister and her bf have iphones with at&t and OMG let me tell you how bad reception is and how many times her phone drops a call .... One time while working i was in the elevator and guy next to me said, "can you believe this, my damn i phone gets better reception in the elevator than outside" I told him thats at&t for ya ..lol

i dont know but after 3 iphones and at&t network i was funking done, now i got the evo which fucking clowns the iphone but that just me. plus sprint plan unlimited everything way cheaper than verizon and at&t, no drop calls for me so i'm happy. if i was a verizon costumer i would wait until they offer a newer iphone which supports 4g and many other things.

sprint ftmfw i get signal everywhere, no dropped calls, got 4g in south/east bay soon to be north bay, my evo is the shit does everything an iphone does plus more! iphones will be dead technology soon its all about androids! i watch 720p videos while im riding in the work truck. beat that iphone4! bill went up 10 a month for 4g and i still pay less each month than att and verizon and have unlimited data.

What the other guy was trying to say is you can talk and receive data on att network because they use gsm network the verizon network is using the old CDMA so you can't talk and receive data at the same time and the iPhone 4 with the bad service with att has to do with bad antena design from apple so for the verizon iPhone they added a second antena to solve that problem and to all who say that att is done because the iPhone is sold with verizon you guys know nothing the rest of the world who still want iPhones go through AT&T because the iPhone with att use sim cards and so do the t- mobile customers and to the people who wonder if they will be charged more for putting in a sim card in a blk berry or iPhone the att system knows automatically which phone your using so if they don't charge you now they will eventually it happened to me. But you can call customer care and play dumb and they will reverse the charges with no hastle. But the iPhone 4 and 3GS iPhone are 4g capable for those who seem not to know but yes I'm also waiting for the iPhone 5 cuz it's iPhone FTMFW ! Lmao

well my bill is $134 a month with two lines and both lines using smart phones. unlimited everything, while when i was in at&t two lines one normal and one smart phone was like $180 or more no unlimited minutes nor my text. my friend pays around $120 for his iphone (at&T) and today i call him and he tells me if i could text him cause he ran out of minutes lol

Damn I pay $200 a month for 5 phones and thats with unlimited everything minus the minutes and yes I have unlimited web too

Yes I preordered on the third and got it on seventh. The specs on the incredible are good but apple knows how to build hardware so that the software is seamless. I do miss a lot of features on the incredible but I also don't miss how glitchy that phone was. The scenes were awesome by the way but a memory hog.

FYI there is already a way to jailbrake the Verizon iPhone 4. If you are willing to do that, he'll you can do a lot for free.

I also read that on engadget the Verizon iPhone 4 was taken apart and still has the GSM radio still in the phone. Hmmm, might have some interesting tweaks by lots of geeks in the near future.
