Ok guys I'm having a dilema. I'm thinking of getting rid of my sn95 and getting a new edge, they are my favorite body style.
What's a good asking price for a 95Gt, clean title, 113,xxx miles. Stock bottom end with aluminum heads, intake, and blower. Stock t5 and 373 gears Exterior 8/10 interior 9/10
General ideas Guys no bullshit

Better to sell the blower off the car and sell it that way, SN95 seems not to bring big money. I have a black 95GT and cant see myself selling it for $2500 and its stock. [ January 12, 2011, 04:15 PM: Message edited by: racsirx ]

I'd probably ask around 5k depending on what kind of suspension/overall look it has.

I'd say 5k on a good day. but what I would do is put the car back to stock and sell all the goodies you will make more of your money back . But just because you paid x amount for blower and heads and all these other items doesnt make the car worth x amount plus the retail price of the aftermarket parts you installed ,it's still a a sn95 with nice parts as I'm sure you know

It would probably go for $4k in this market. 94-95's dont bring much.

Selling it to a private party is your best best. You can start off at $4500, but they are going to always "KBB" it and tell you it is only worth around $3200 if in good condition. If you get lucky you can find someone who wants to complete your project and pay extra for the heads and blower (guessing an extra $2000 for the used blower and heads is reasonable).
I was at this crossroads a long time ago...and no way was I was going to sell my '95 cobra with all the money and especially time/busted knuckles I put into it:)

Stockish new edge is going to feel like a slug compared to Your ride & then You are going to sink a bunch more dough into it to bring it up to what You are used too & then when You get bored of the new edge You are going to be in the same boat except You will be out ANOTHER 5K! Might want to keep and enjoy what You have? Do You drag race it or road race? If not then try it out and You might find some new intrest in the 95.

New Edges are still going for 7-10k with lower mileage though. Theres a bigger demand for those compared to 94-98's

Good point but I was saying by the time He sell's His car and purchases a new edge+ mod's he will be out at least 5k. But if He has His mind set on it I would'nt take less than 4500 on it and if it did'nt sell then return it back to stock and sell the HCI & blower and probably make 5500-6000.
