Hey playa, I have a press pass I got one from Corbis or Photostock at first, but that one was limited and wasn't observed sometimes.
Your best bet is the IFPO (Internation Freelance Photographers Association). You can also try the US Press Agency. I run a technology blog/forum so it is how I get into CES among other things. But to be honest it is more based on your mouth piece and who you know. Also doesnt hurt to run some sort of blog. Peeps like to see where there pics will end up.

US Press Agency, That was the one I was wondering about. I tried to access their website but it was down last night. Thanks for the recommendation, I was looking for someone that had obtained one before. I will have to check the website again later . Thanks again
