A teen driver pulled out in front of me in her toyota truck on saturday and killed my car .

I was the front car of a 4 car pile up on sunday in my harley truck, luckily no damage for me.
I don't understand why people can't leave enough stopping distance on the freeway when traffic stops to not hit the car in front of them ![[Roll Eyes]](rolleyes.gif)

I've been in 2 accidents when driving, both times they occured with me fully stopped for several seconds on the freeway, this time no damage, last time some jackass totaled my `97 sierra.
not much defensive driving can do for you when you're at a complete stop. My extra following distance (compared to others) allowed me to avoid hitting the car in front of me both times, the first time with my sierra an 80's chevy truck hit me going ~30-40mph, my bumper flipped under the bed and the spare tire ended up above the diff with the frame back there totally in a pretzel shape, the stock radio headunit even broke out of the mounts and popped out of the dash.
ugh, I hate people.

I agree about the following distance, this is why if I can see everyones break lights coming on and we will be coming to a stop on the freeway. I start braking way ahead of time, and flash my break lights.
