I wanna know just roughly how much a 98 cobra is worth, got 170k miles, 5 speed, 373 gears, and some other bolt ons like cai and stuff like that nothing major, interior isn't in the best condition, body is straight and paint is good, lmk
before you guys ask, I don't have any pics, the car is black with nice paint.

Hard to comment without seeing it.
But if the body is straight, it looks completely presentable, passes smog, compression is good, and there are no major hidden problems, you would certainly not be overpaying at $5K

i think you're better off extending your budget a bit to buy a lower mileage cobra cuz at this cars mileage you really think its worth saving $1k and rebuilding later vs just spending around 6k for a car w/ half the miles?

not worth 5k, that's for an excellent car, not one that's been modded/beat on with a beat interior.
take the fair price from kbb and negotiate down from there, IMO.

Almost 200k miles, and shitty interior? I wouldn't pay more than 3000 for it.

My interior is also pritty good but it is gunna be a lil hard to find perfect interiors since the leather on these things get worn real bad

with 5k you could buy a cleaner cobra than the one you described.... fords last forever but 5k for a car with over 175k miles is too much especially if the int is not looking the best.... get a clean ass coupe instead.

Should be able to get that for a little cheaper. I picked up a 96 with rebuilt motor clean exterior and interior with lots of extra parts including 2 sets of rims for well less than that.

my 96 cobra hydrolocked at 145k. pulled the plugs, sprayed all the water out and iy started right up. sold it the next day for 4k and did 160 on the way to meet the guy. so no this car is not worth that.
p.s. i did tell the guy it "needed head gaskets" lol
