Just wondering how long Everyone has owned their stangs and what goal's You have accomplished since You have owned the vehicle? Also future goal's and plan's for the car? I have owned My notch since 1994. Went to the strip for the 1st time in 1997 and ran a blistering 14.8 @ 94 mph but since then it has ran a best of 10.9 @ 127 in street legal trim. Future plan's are sending the s trim back to vortech for the upgraded head unit, sumped fuel system with braded lines, a nice brake upgrade, dart based stroker, and finally breaking into the 9's. Will probably be a couple year's till I get everything done but a man can dream!!

I've owned my car (98 cobra) for a little over 5 years now..Bought the car from the 2nd owner with 39xxx Miles back in July of 05. Had exhaust and gears. First time at the track ran 13.7. First Mods I did was full exhaust, QA-1 Drag shocks, and a dry 100 shot zex kit. Ran a 12.2@ 113 on a set of M/T ET STREETS. Next was the procharger, 6-Speed, and Full suspension done by Maier. Car put down 471 @ 6200 rpms on 10 lbs of boost. After enjoying that setup for a couple years the motor blew. It was finally time for a build, so now H/C/I, 3" exhaust, all brand new upgraded fuel system. Car made 565 rwhp. on 12 lbs of boost. Future plans is to throw an F1-R and up the boost. Ultimate goal is to run 9's with the 6 speed. but i know thats probably not gonna happen any time soon

I've owned mine for 14 years and started with just a shell. First time I ran it at the track, it pulled a 15.60 with the 289 using just a high rise intake, 600 vac sec holley, toploader 4sp and 3.00 gears. Was my daily driver for many years running the ralley wheels with skinny 205 60 tires.

Now it still runs the 289 but has a bigger cam, full performance exhaust, aluminum heads, supercharger and MSD setup. Updated the tranny to a t-5 with aluminum driveshaft and currie 9" with 3.55 gears and caltrax bars along with re-rebuilding the suspension and running much wider rubber now/adding drag radials with a line loc.

Future plans are to redo the restoration to more modern standards, updating the front suspension, roll bar, new paint, fresh interior and swapping the 289 short block for a 408 stroker. Probably adding rear seatbelts too as chances are that I will have a couple munchkins running around by the time I get it all done. Car didnt come with rear seat belts and front ones were an option for my car. I just hope that the car doesn't become one of those 15 year projects that just sit in the gargage collecting dust... cause I'll never sell it.

I've owned my 95' for about 2 years now.. got the car all stock with low miles.. let it sit for a few months than started driving it..
Added almost every bolt on but finally realizied that it wouldn't get me anywhere near fast enough... now my car is going under some serious surgery here real soon...
I plan on keeping this for a long time if you know what I mean [Big Grin]

about 5 months...i dont have any track times or anything but I hope to have some LAP times soon.

In these short 5 months I've done a lot of suspension upgrades and a few cosmetic changes to bring it to my liking.

Bought my car in 96' and the only upgrade @ the time was some 3 chamber flow masters then a few months later swapped out the ugly wheels fo 16" pony wheels drove as my daily driver

3 years pass and after a blown head gasket decided that it was time to build the motor a bit so I pulled the motor had it punched out 30 over put some trick flow heads and cam and intake got a cobra intake 70 mm tb bigger Maf and 24 lb injectors and bbk shorties and h-pipe

Then a year later put some 3:55 gears in best time on that set up with full trim and street tires ran a low 13 boooo

After a few years got tired of going through fuel pumps so I upgraded the fuel system to the half inch bradded lines after market fuel rails and fpr

And after another year got tired of that motor combo and found a 347" long block that I swapped in with a holley systemax with the 75 mm tb 80 mm Maf and 42 lbs injectors and bbk lt and x pipe and NOS kit with a 200 shot
Went to hot aug nights and came back after driving it for a few days and blew the stock t-5 so went and found a TKO 500 since then I've changed the head lights to the ultraclears and hids

I owned my 1988 GT for 19 years and my plans are to make it run low 10s or high 9s and still pass smog. On my 1988 Coupe I bought it 10 years ago and sold it to a friend and then got it back 2.5 years ago and my plans are to get it to run 8.50s.

I've owned my current car for 4 years. I had another coupe before that I was going to turn into a race car, but decided spending $30K to do it right was ridiculous. So I bought my latest coupe with all the suspension parts I wanted plus a 320rwhp 302 for 1/3 of the price. I've since stripped the car, turned it into a full blown road race machine and won my time trial class this year competing against vettes, audis, other race cars etc. I got my competition license in October and will start wheel to wheel competition in November. It's going to suck when the car gets banged up but it's a race car, not a street queen.

Bought mine in '87 and ran a 15.8 the first time out at Fremont, got it down to 14.7 by the time Baylands closed. Started to go to Sears Point and eventually ran a best of 14.48 with 100% dead stock engine, street trim, 2.73s and crappy Gatorbacks. Got kicked out of Sears Point for going too fast on the return road (which I eventually found was more fun than the drag race) and have preferred the twisties ever since.

89 coupe since 09, focusing on cleaning up the engine bay and stiffening up the suspension. Not really goin after a quarter mile runner, more like a reliable weekend cruiser...

Bought my 01 Cobra in 01, currently has 12k on the odo with nothing but bolt ons, wheels and a Saleen kit. She's a garage queen. My daily driver is a 92 GT with a completely stock drivetrain, but a hooked up suspension and a 5 lug conversion that I've had for about a year. 22 miles to the gallon and handles like a Porsche. But I've had mustangs of all types since I learned to drive 20 years ago.
