I'm looking into restoring my 86gt and give it a make over but what seems to be giving me a headache is the weather stripping, window moldings etc...I want to buy them all brand new but when I checked 50resto it only goes down to 87-93...does anyone kno if the 87's will work or are they completely different? This is my first four eye so it kinda has me scratching my head a bit...so if anyone that has had a few four eyes in past please let me know what's the easiest about going with this...all feedback is highly appreciated...thanx cafords and members. ![[patriot]](graemlins/patriot.gif)

The only thing that will interchange will be the hatch seal/weatherstripping they fit 79-93. Being you have a t-top car the door and roof seals are totally different and you will need them from a 79-86 car. I have not seen any aftermarket setups that are worth a damn so you may have to settle for a good used set, if you can find any......

Yup she sure is but its pretty much what I was looking for I wanted to rebuild something from the ground up...it sux to see a bunch of foxes being parted out or junked...gotta keep our foxes alive and on the road...there's a few colors I'm debating about...a nice silver like on the new kr500's with the ford blue stripes, dark midnite blue, sonic blue maybe even white but I'm still debating kinda want my fox to stand out so the brainstorming continues haha...
