As much as I love the 67-68 Mustang, I am also completely sold on the 1963 1/2 Falcon with the slanted rear window. Love these things! (and they are a lot cheaper than the 67-68 Mustang too)

Most people don't give the 71-73 boat years much love including me...but on my way to Reno I saw a lime green one on deep dish bullitts and it looked pretty sick... It looked similar to the one below but on bullitts....

Damn 8stang8, what's the width of those rims and what size tire is going to be utilized?
Is this your car?
What suspension mods did you have to make to get this to fit?

They were originally 10.5" wide & were widened to 13 or 13.5" inches to fit and almost stretch 345 hoosiers. Hoosiers having a 13 contact patch (no cafords bulging )
The car belongs to a friend of mine and I still havent finished it (weld panhard bar).
We had to run a rear coilover setup & use offeset LCAs from upr other than that & tubbin it, A SHIT LOAD of welding LOL.
Heres a picture of the LCA/Rim clearance ( about a finger, the clearance increases the further out, hence being the hieght of the tire/ sidewall).

That looks awesome! I'm excited to see the finished product.
And no cafords bulge??? You are running the risk of no street cred here. Cafords members demand nothing but the widest of 315-35-17 wheels on their 17x8 rims! Anything less would be uncivilized.
And lastly, when will we see a 345-30-18 on the orange coupe with widened TF wheels?

Ill post more pics of that drop top fox once it is finished even though its on the ground already .
Luke Im happy with my 10" wheels and 10" inch tires. So no tubbing for me. Besides, who really needs more than a 10 inch contact patch??? Besides kevinl LOL . [ October 05, 2010, 01:15 PM: Message edited by: 8stang8 ]

You know, I was pretty thrilled with my 18x10 & 285/35 combo myself on my fox. It was aggressive but not overdone. The 345's do look cartoonishly cool, lol.
