Kings got the most talented big guy in the draft and also took a projected lottery pick with Whiteside.
Just hope that DeMarcus doesnt end up being as good as JaMarcus.
Whiteside has a freakish wingspan and averaged 5.4 blocks a game as a freshman. [ June 25, 2010, 12:40 AM: Message edited by: Yaterstang ]

There where rumors flying around this week about drafting Udoh. He is 23 years old. He was a 5th year and took a year off I believe. He only started playing basketball in his junior year in HS. He is a defense minded player and blocks shots.
I don't really know much about him nor will I bitch until I see him play. Personally, I would not have traded down to pick him up or drafted Monroe. Supposedly he was not impressive in the GS workout.

Monroe would and should have been their logical choice on paper and by stat sheet. But I do appreciate the Warriors strange move.

I made a typo. I would have drafted Monroe but if I where the Warriors I would have drafted down to the Pistons and then Picked Udoh.

He was pretty much one of the best centers in the draft. This was a good pull for them.
