Came home from work today and sitting on the doorstep was two iphones. Time to get it set up and see what its all about. Got it a day early and dont have to stand in any lines like the others.

This is off topic, but I remember once I dropped my phone in the toilet while I took a piss. Unfortunately it was after I pissed, but before I flushed the toilet, so it was basically sitting in piss LOL.. I quickly grabbed it out of the toilet, wiped it off with some alcohol, washed my hands, & took it down to the phone store to see if it could be fixed. I laughed inside when the dude behind the corner was touching the phone LOL...
Needless to say, the phone couldn't be fixed because I turned it on before it dried out, so i ended up just buying a new phone. But, I am so rough with my phones, that I stay away from nice phones like Iphones & Blackberry's & just stick to the throw away cheapy phones...

Lucky man, I couldn't even pre-order on the 15th and then when I finally got through it said the phone wouldn't be available until July 2, 2010... So, I declined. Its not gonna run as good.When OS4 was announced they said it was built for iphone4 and 3gs will do well and normal 3g wont see full benefits.

I got mine today at the Burlingame store. Got there around 545am and walked out by 745am. Not bad at all, although I had my phone reserved. For the walk in line, now that was pretty bad. Im not sure how long it took those people to get theirs.

Are you sure its late July? Because Apple was allowing anybody that was upgrade eligible in 2010 to get an early upgrade special. If you want to check, if you still have a phone that texts. Type *639# and push the call button. You should receive a text saying if you qaulified.

I've looked into this as well as many other phones recently. The camera is a known "fault" on almost every site I looked at. there are phones out with 8mp's nowadays and people with them say how much better than the Iphone they are.

Who buys a phone for the camera? And whoop dee doo its only 5mp.It records HD video.The only time you need really high mp's is if you plan on making huge prints or wanna see the smallest details in the pics when you zoom on your comp.The only things Ive ever really used my phone camera for is taking pics of dumb random shit.(In which case they dont need to be super high quality.I got a nikon d5000 for that)
