Does 500 bucks sound right for adjusting rockers? I'm trying to find good places to get my car done, but damn some of these places are nuts.

500 isn't bad. Has anyone ever adjusted them on their own? Its a time consuming process. Removal of the upper intake and valve covers. Then you have to manually crack the motor to TDC/BDC on each valve in order to adjust it and then reassemble. Easily a 4-5 hour job and shop rates range from 80-100 an hour.
