jeez they're loud too, shame that solid axle mufflers are different offset than IRS setups.

You can kind of hear me take off in front of my buddy last weekend here -

but that was with a 6-cat h-pipe on the car ![[Frown]](frown.gif) they had sound restrictions at that event.
now it's back to my normal bbk "high flow" 2 cat h-pipe and it's a lot louder...

in that vid, stock 96 cobra exhaust manifolds, stock 6 cat mid pipe, and the flowmaster 2.5" 2003 cobra catback.
Yesterday I threw my bbk 2.5" h pipe on and it's even louder, I really want to replace the mufflers with something quieter that flow better but don't want to put any money into the car other than maintaining it for the immediate future.

that was the exact same catback i had on my '96. i loved the sound. my car only had a 4 cat factory mid-pipe. how come yours is a 6?

Think his car was a gt with a cobra swap. GT's had the 6 pipe and cobras had the 4.
How did u get the 6 pipe to bolt up to the mod motor

just like any other midpipe...midpipes and catbacks are the same for all 96-97 2v & 4v motors. 98+ they got rid of the hangers and changed the rear o2 location but any 96/04 midpipe bolts up to the manifolds.
