ok so i got my registration notice in the mail today it says"smog certification required at a test only or gold shield station" are these just regular smog shops or how are they different? I dont believe my combo will pass so I'm trying to get something done before the last minute.

Yep.. you need to go to a smog shop that is designated as test only.. why won't your car pass?

They can usually check if it will pass without sending to dmv...but they will tax u ..worth a try if u got 4 cats
