Yes and no. Modern Warfare has the multiplayer option and comes on 360 as well. But as far as just the game itself? Yes! Graphics, game play, gore, story....everything is waaaay better. The game is stunning in every aspect.

Comparing this game to MW2 is apples and oranges. But if I had to chose Game of the Year... I would put MW2 over GOW3 because of the multiplayer and it's success with balance, maps, gun variety, etc. But! GOW3 has the badest single player gameplay, graphics, and story/cutscenes to come out this year. I'd say it's the Best Action Game of the Year hands down.

Says the guy who goes 1-10! But I do agree there are imbalances in the game which need to be fixed. But there are various types of shooters out there and it's just that you like the tactical type shooters. You'd prob enjoy CS more than UT2004.
No shooter is realistic in gameplay. The only way they can come close is by roleplay like BF2 does it. I think the only realistic games out there are sport games which are only getting better over time.

I was trying to point out that a big part of mw2 format is perks and killstreaks. These elements where never part of the BF series but in BF2 they took these ideas and developed them even further. Instead of giving a pool of perks from everyone to choose from they specified perks for each category. Instead of off the wall kill streaks they gave each category a special killstreak type skill that actually pertained to each character.
