I had an unpaid speeding ticket that i took care of because my license got suspended. So they tell me now that im done i should go to the dmv and get my license reinstated. i go to the dmv and this guy prints something and tells me i have to sign this because now i know that my license is suspended and i need to show proof of insurance for the accident i got into. I said i havent been in an accident since last april, he says yeah you forgot to fill out a form where damages exceed $750. it turns out, my license hasnt been suspended for the 2 weeks i thought, its been a whole year and the dmv didnt wanna tell me about it? the cop that wrote me a ticket didnt even tell me my license was suspended back in october. now i have to go through a bunch of shit to get to the insurance company that i had last year when i totalled my car. or i can just pay 300 for a restricted license for a year and 55 so i can use the restricted license.(re-instatement fee) damn i hate california. yes it was my fault but the fees are just fuckin outrageous.

are you talking about the time u were coming to my house and crashed a chinese lady hahaha. no bars lol. well at least you are carless now and driving should be the least of your worries. if you hate CA so much come move out to Texas ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)

I hear what your saying about the fees but your not going to get much sympathy here. I made a post a while back about the cost of tickets and people got down my throat about it saying well "just don't speed' and blah blah blah; nothing useful. A few people understood and could see the picture so what I got out of it was just don't commit any type of crime (such as speed) and then we can put all the cops out of work because there is no one to give tickets too. Makes sense ![[Wink]](wink.gif) Good luck buddy.

Lol yeah it was that day when I totalled the beamer on paseo.
Nd yeah I remeber that post, everyone kept sayin its your fault nd whatnot. I know it was my fault nd I did forget get to fill out the form, but what pissed me off is that I never got anythin in the mail tellin me my license was suspended. Its like they just pulled this shit out their ass over night. I registered two cars under my name after that accident and got a ticket. No one could have told me this at those times? I member last time my mom went to register her car they told her, her license was suspended. So iono why I couldn't get somethin like that.

It's hard to prove there laziness and incompitance but the state is broke and there looking for anything they can get any way they can get it. Not sure what to tell you, like I said good luck and hope it works out
