I can't decide which mustang to get..I'm going to build either one I get I just need help deciding which body style.

I've always wanted a notch with deep dish bullitt wheels or a 01-04 with deep dish bullitt wheels.

Any ideas will help thanks [patriot]

As much as I love the notch's ... I think the fad is going to last a while so people are going to want more for them. You can build a nice 01-04 stang. My cousin's 01 bullit was a real nice car to cruse.

I'm going to build it up though, full bolt ons and maybe a supercharger. Either one is going to be fast and nice just don't know which body style I want [Confused]

depends what you want to do with it once youre done building it. If its for race purposes, the notch for sure. If its more for cruising and driveability, id get an 01-04.

it's going to be a street car but might hit up the track once in a while. I've always loved the notches, why would you choose a 01-04 if it's just for the street? What's wrong with a notch for the street?

If you drove both cars for a month everyday to work..... You would pick the 01-04 over a stock suspension notch.

Sounds like you are already set on a notchback. What more convincing do you need?

I'm not completely set on a notch yet. I've owned both a 03 gt and a 93 LX. I love the way both of them drive I just need some other opinions to make my final decision. I know both of them will be fast how I build them I'm just worried about looks. Anybody have a notch or a 01-04 with deep dish bullits? or regular bullits?

I get an 03 Cobra and don't get me wrong I love it but there's no car I've had that compares to a nice foxbody especially a notch I just love those cars. Back to your tough choice I'd say go with a notch if you want to sell or maintain most of thr money you put in your car because I believe an 01 gt would not be worth as much as a foxbody notch in a few years.

That's what I was thinking but I'm pretty sure I'm never going to get ALL of my money back either way if I do sell, but I think I'm just going to keep it for as long as I can. The only hesitations I have on getting a notch is in my head I think because the year is so old something's going to go wrong and it won't be able to handle as much pressure as a 01-04.

Blackfifty - You've had a notch before too? Have you had any problems you wouldn't normally get with your 03 cobra? I just don't want to keep getting a bunch of diff. problems with the notch.

I'm going to upgrade the suspension in the notch, any other reasons why you would choose a 01-04?

Sorry for all the questions just having troubles because this is going to be my car for a LONG time and I don't wanna make a mistake.

Yea you do encounter simple problems on a notch that I usually don't hav with my cobra the huge difference is if I have a problem with the notch I had it was fairly cheaper to fix but with the cobra your gonna break the bank. You seem like your set on a notch if I was in your position I'd get a notch as well let's remember coupes are like an invesent now because they're going up value. Goodluck!

I already had a hatch I like some of them but you have to know exactly how to make it. The notch looks like a beast even stock [Big Grin]
