Author Topic: GOOD LOJACK...DUMB THEIVE 89 FAKE SNAKE ¯ Member # 4531 posted                              Police: Oakland man arrested for driving stolen car to court hearing — in an auto theft case Vacaville Reporter Posted: 11/09/2009 01:42:21 PM PST Updated: 11/09/2009 01:42:23 PM PST VALLEJO — Vehicles, it seems, may be the bane of Oakland resident Samuel George Botchvaroff's existence. In recent months, the 24-year-old's vehicle was impounded during an arrest, leaving him without transportation. And on Tuesday he needed to get to Vallejo for his arraignment in an auto theft case. With no way to get there, he apparently stole a car in Oakland and drove it to Vallejo, where he attended court, California Highway Patrol officials said. Meanwhile, officials were notified of the theft and tracked the car to the Vallejo courthouse, compliments of the car's LoJack device. As Botchvaroff entered the car, officials said, they arrested him.
