Looks like a pretty decent car. I would ask what mods were done to it.

Also, he says that the buyer must smog. By law the seller is responsible for smog. You can opt to do it yourself but I can tell you that it won't pass with the CAI and there may be other reasons. Smog can be a real PITA to deal with and cost hundreds to fix so make sure you know what you are getting into.

If it were me I would find out everything that needs to be done to the car to fix all problems and add up the costs. Take this into consideration when making him an offer. Also, I would get him to smog it.

no it's not for my sn95 i'm not that dum. i was gona tray my 96 accord. as far as smog it's no problem for me. One of the things im kinda iffy about is the clutch being bad. How do i know just the clutch is bad? what if the clutch and tranny are bad? a clutch is cheap and i have a spare tranny to put in it if it does need one but i was just wondering if anyone from here had checked it out or something. thanks guys
