Wow!! 23mpg!!
That is better than my bone stock AOD car with only 27K miles on it when I drove it out here from Alabama in 1998. It got 22.6 MPG.

haha, my commute is the same, I have a nice sweeping freeway onramp at either end, but it's only 1 exit away, I hit that shit hard everyday with my `97, I usually get 180miles to a tank when I just commute
long trips it gets 22mpg though, haha

Do you have a speedo gear to correct your speedo? If not your getting inaccurate readings on mileage. [ July 08, 2009, 06:39 PM: Message edited by: 90FoX ]

You guys are nuts! How are some of you getting ~150 miles per tank? Foot to the floor every time you leave the light? lol 338 is amazing, but there's no reason not to get over 200-250. Well,

Was cruising home earlier. I don't cruise @ 3k, it's more like 2500 @ 80 mph. Went 90 mph & it was about 2800 rpm! I remember getting hella good gas mileage from my two SN95's as well.

My 89, with heads, intake, longtubes, and 3.55, went 320 miles on a couple tanks, I was commuting from sac to foresthill, which is a climb.

I think a lot depends on the proportion of highway vs. city driving....

I remember i got around 22-23 out of my 306 going from the hayward area and ending up in Carson City. And on top of that I had to go uphill through the Sierras... That was also with stock 10 degree timing...
