theres no way your making that power with a single fuel pump, much less 42lb injectors. if so your car is running so lean its a joke.
and if your so concerned about your rails, you should really be concerned with the stock fuel feed line.....
your right. it dosent make sense.

it made that power one day on a dyno, we will see what happens in 6 months. Dont skimp on your fuel system. with that setup you must go twin in tank pumps or returnless.

1. buy a car 2. risk blowing it up to see where its "AT" 3. if its at risk dont spend money 4. de-tune as necessary to suit you wallet.
sounds cafords typical.

Seriously, get the fuck out of here with your cocky attitude. You have 0 experience, this isn't even YOUR car yet. You need to get a PERSONAL Loan to buy the car to boot. Why don't you listen to some people around here who HAVE the cars and HAVE run the setups. It's pretty obvious you're a camaro guy. Don't look for any help at the track when your shit breaks down.

Ouch......
Seriously, I think we've all learned the hard way about cutting one corner or another. I remember an article way, way back about a completely stock 90's 5.0 that Paxton put twin superchargers on. They pulled 671 hp and 711 lbs of torque out of this engine, how long do you think that lasted? You can pull the numbers for a while but I learned the hard way with my truck that pushing it will only end in a bad day. A dyno sheet doesn't mean shit when your car has a rod hanging out the side of the block.

dual focus pumps wont feed aftermarket rails, much less 80lb injectors. pretty overkill in areas that arent needed and skimping in areas where you shouldnt.
your also going to need a modified FPDM or a dual FPDM setup, if your car dosent run and you dont have this. refer to this post and youll know why....
like i said before. why are you set on "focus" pumps??? GT pump blow them out of the water!!
to each their own i guess. you do you, imma do me. lol [ June 09, 2009, 02:06 PM: Message edited by: RED@7kVERT *8850GT* ]

Sure dude, whatever. You obviously know so much not sure why you're asking us. For some reason I don't see this name or any of your other names on the CAFords fastest list...like it says in my signature: Bring what you got and hope its enough!
So...sumped tank or 03 cobra tank with a baffle....03 cobra hat or Fore hat for multiple pump install...upgraded wiring, dual FPDM or MDM Jr. if staying returnless, the GT500 Cobra Jet 80lb injectors are pretty popular right now and cheap through Ford Racing...if whoever owns the car actually needs them...
