+1 Its only a charge, until they convict you its not an issue. I've been "charged" in the past and beaten it in court so nothing went on my record..... traffic court by the way, no criminal shit but you have a good chance of getting off.

TALK TO A BLOODY LAWYER!!! They are money yeah but your future is more valuable. The arrest itself will be on your record so your SOL there....but it wont stop you from getting work. May stop you from becoming a police officer in the future though. I can't even get a ride along because of past arrests...so get a lawyer they will be able to answer all your questions. Or even a public attorny will be able to.

Good luck man, I hope the best for you!!!

OH and if she goes in and says you didn't really do those things then she is going to get in trouble for saying that you did in the first place...if you care about this chick still then I wouldn't let her come to the court.

tell her not to show, nothing will happen to her. tell your pretender you want a fast and speedy trial, do not give that right up. plead not guilty, she won't show up, county is broke and won't waste money on a trial with no witness case dropped by the fourth court date. [Wink]

just as long as the court isn't trying to convict you themselves or the arresting officer....but if your record is clean prior to this you will just get a kick in your ass and sent on your way. good luck
