So im thinking about getting a second pup and will be renting for at least the next couple years. I am good to go for next year but after that, Im probably moving out so..... I was wondering how much harder you guys think it would be to rent with two dogs vs. just one. Just so its clear, I already have one and want to get another.
P.S. They would both be American Pit Bull Terriers (the best dog in the world right?)
edit: I wanted to say I know it would be harder but I am just hoping it's possible to do in most areas. If you can have one then prob two as well right?..... [ March 12, 2009, 02:00 AM: Message edited by: 1990GT50 ]

At the apartments we live in, we moved in with one dog. Then a few months later now have a second puppy. They just added the pet fee on and we were good to go. I don't believe it should be too much more difficult. But I'd imagine some places have a rule as to which breeds are allowed, like they do with our complex.

It will be very hard to rent with 1 pitbull let alone two. You will need space, most likely you will find places only in lower rent outskirts, that is unless your dropping a lot of money on rent.

I already got one and Im camping before I give him away. Im just tryin to see if you guys think a second will be a deal breaker everywhere or what? Im not concerned with living in the "ghetto" so I figure theres always SOMETHING, right....?

I have 2 pits and I rent. It was difficult finding a place to live, but eventually we found a dog friendly place ( i have a pet deposit, and insurance for the dogs ). Once the owners met my dogs they were cool with it.

Just one dog no matter the breed is hard to find a house to rent. Apts. are different, I doubt you'll have trouble if it's an aptartment.
We have a 15 lb. min pin/cockapoo and it was a pain in the ass finding a house to rent. We had to settle on the one we found because they allowed dogs. We weren't about to give him up though so you take your chances.
