so i go to pick n pull today lookin for a hood prop...no biggie just needed one little small part...
well it starts to rain.....alot....a shit load...i couldve just jumped into a pool and wouldve been no different.. but being the die hard mustanger i was still peepin out every fox on the lot lookin for parts ...and what do i find?? a perfect condition zero cracks mustang dash pad in an 85 gt..and i swear to u it was already unbolted...it was like a sign or something haha anyways...i also ended up grabbin a exterior trim piece i needed too ...so i get to the check out/pay for your shit line and the lady at the cash reg. sees that i am soaked and she happens to be the manager..go figure...anyways she gives me this whole entire speech about how bad she felt and they need an indoor pick n pull and how she used to get soaked walkin to school up hill.....both ways.....yadayadayadayada haha...well in the end she says itll only be ten bucks for everything i was fuckn juiced!! i tried pickin one up the week before and they wanted 30 and it was fffd up!! that just made my whole week..been trying to get a clean dash pad for months!! thats all just wanted to share...late-

next time i know now to just go an take my sweater off an put it into the water/pump tank an step on the pedal a dozen times an get it nicely soaked an slip it back on an splash some on my face an walk up an see if it works for me.
