So I've got our '07 Trailblazer SS listed on Craig's List again and I get an email from a guy. I'm thinking "cool"... someone's interested in the truck. Instead, I get this:
your problem is , there is even a black one with 44k , and leather not cloth , listed at $15k. even , and still no buyers ,,, so no matter how many people call you and entertain you with the thought and feeling of purchase , unless you drop that price a lot , you will be no where near true sale ,, as some one would first buy the $15k ... then prob. even the $22k one in st helena thats black , as color is a lot with these ,,, and have you seen the black one with leather , navigation , and rear dvd flip down , in concord , only SKING $21K , AND WILLING TO TAKE LIKE $19.9...
Do some people really have this much time in their pathetic lives just to go around typing idiotic responses to people's for sale ads?
HERE IS MY REPLY:
No, I haven't seen the one in Concord and I don't know where the hell St. Helena is, nor do I care. Values vary wildly across the country, especially in snowbelt states. And you can't be serious in trying to compare one with double the mileage. The fact is, I've had this thing sold 4 times now. My price is not the issue. Apparently, this truck attracts people with marginal credit who can't get qualified. BTW, color is important on any vehicle and a lot of people (like myself) hate black. Finally, I'm not hard up for cash. I don't need to sell it, but I have my eyes on one of the '09 Pontiac G8 GXP's. You add in my '08 Ford F150 Supercrew FX4, our '05 Nissan Xterra Off Road, my 4 classic Mustangs, and my '67 Cougar and there's just not enough room at the house and the shop. In case you haven't gotten the message already, you can keep your pathetic and unknowledgeable opinion to yourself.

What's the matter? Did I get under your skin a little bit? Go ahead and flag my ad for removal. I have your emails and can easily reach out to the Craig's List folks and have your requests blocked. I sincerely believe that you would pull a stunt like that. You've already shown that you've got plenty of worthless, pubescent teenager time to waste by randomly replying to peoples' ads just to piss on their parades. unless he has a bunch of his buddies flagging your ad, your ad should be okay with only him flagging since it takes several ppl to flag before your ad is taken down.

Beyond that, I believe that Craig's List will try to confirm whatever claim he makes to verify that one of their rules has been broken. If not, they won't flag the ad.

It takes more than one person flagging the ad to pull it and he can't just sit there flagging it over and over because it logs your IP. Post up his email address, I'll be happy to put a few ads up for a $150 PS3 and some nice male for male ads with his address in the body. Lets see how he likes having an inbox full of crap.
