Just what the title says. I was just going through craigslist when I came across an advertisement. I've heard about it in more than one occasion but I've never met anybody who's personally tried it. I own a truck that I wouldn't care about if they slapped advertisements on it, and having a little extra cash to pay for fuel would be nice.
But has anyone actually done it? Looks like there's quite a few sites that do this type of deal. Here's one example: http://www.gettingfreegas.com/

$27 to join and put 2 cars in the "queue".
Advertisers are looking for new, nice looking cars that match their advertisement. Look at all the cars featured there. They correspond to what is on the car somehow, most blatantly obvious.
Sounds like a scam to me. I also think Casinos and the Lottery are too(especially since I never win), but hey, your choice. You might be one of the lucky people who get paid UP TO $66 a day to plaster an ad all over your car. [ July 30, 2008, 07:18 PM: Message edited by: BlackDrop50 ]
