give them the car back, tell them they have to deal with it. They are struggling like every car lot to get deals so i'd tell them a deals a deal. You'll take your business elsewhere. Autolending hss been hit hard just like home lending and 1 out of 10 customers are going to be approved for car loans out there. Then again I dont work at a dealership. Doesnt Navidr?

they tried that when we got the 4runner. i did a late night deal. the manager for trade ins wasnt in. he called me the next day asking if i drove the car in, in its urrent state. I said yes. there wasnt any problemswith it. lol
well lets just say it almost siezed on me twice driving to modesto. oil pump went out. they didnt want to warranty it so i drove it to the local carpool spot for about 5months like that valves ticking an all the shit sounded terrible. never heard back from them again..
I would personally tell them that as a buyer I have no grace period. an now u want to back out of the deal after u already looked at the car an now changed ur mind. just sit on it for awhile if u could. we ddnt have any problems with our loan or nothing.

let me know how much u want for the car. if they wont honor your loan go elsewhere like a credit union for the loan. if they already have a contract for price and trade-in they shoul be legally binded to honor it.
