I was recently awarded a judgment in small claims court. Now it's time to collect! I was going to go through a collection agency, but they can charge up to 50% if they successfully collect the debt. What they do is send a notice. Then they file a credit "Ding" on the debtors credit score. Meaning: if he/she applies for credit cards, finance a new car, home loan ect, they won't be approved because of this 'Ding" on their score. Do you know how I can file this credit "ding" on this scumbag myself without going through a collection agency? Some feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanx!
