All we're doing is smoothing out the firewall and then we'll do the last coat of primer, sand it with fine sandpaper and then paint ![[Smile]](smile.gif)

I am going to wait on the rims. Just going to get some 95 Cobra R rims for the time being while i save for nicer rims.

where did you get the front clip? I'd like to do a set up like that so I can put a 460 in a 65 stang but all the ones I see run around 3k , also are you going to cage it or run some bars from the frame rails to the fire wall? or are you going to rely on the frame/ floorboards to support the front end??

This is what the frontend will look like when its put together.
The bars i got powdercoated, they originally weren't supposed to mount to the firewall but we customized them to do so for added strength.

o.k. that is why I asked, because when you switch to this type of set up the frame/floorboards are not designed to take all the stress. so did you make the rails or buy someone's kit??

i bought a kit and my frame rails connect to subframe connectors which connects to a secondary frame for the rearend.
The subframes are just square tubing, we cut the back of the stock frame off and slide it inside.
Check out Martz Chassis for the kit i got.
EDIT: i forgot to mention i had to cut the floor all up for the subframe connectors. I'll look for a pic

Is it going to get a rocker panel below the door? I always thought the 67-68's looked better with that panel...

the panel inside the car or on the outside?
Going to test fit the motor in tomorrow and then finish some sanding and primer it.
