As some of you may have seen I have been looking for some 94-95 mustang 5.0 fuel rails. lky_3 said he had a pair he was located in so-cal so he shipped them to me. I was under the impression that I was buying a good used set of fuel rails for $45 shipped. I also asked him to send them next day and I would pay the extra shipping cost when they showed up. When the rails showed up they were in a box wat too small with the vacumm fitting on the fuel pressure reg ripped through the cardboard box and all bent to shit. Wasn't a big deal though cause I was using a aftermarket reg anyway. I opened up the box and the rear crossover tube had been replaced with a janky ass piece of rubber hose and some shity hose clamps.
You would think that this is something you would mention to the buyer since I bought them sight un seen. Any good seller on here would have brought it to the buyers attention. I sent him a pm and told him I was going to be sending the rails back and expected to be refunded the $45+ my shipping charges. And I would not be paying him the extra $23 for over night delivery. Because I feel that I had been ripped off. Here is what he responded with.
Whatever man. The tubing in the back is NOT a big deal and does not effect the functionality of the rails at all. Keep the $23, bucks I figured you were a cheap ass anyway. If you want to send them back than I will give you back SOME of your money. LMK.

I don't see whats the big deal with a janky rubber rear hose.
Just replace the dyam thing and stop being a cheapass moaning and grownin over something small.
5 dollars or less to replace the tube.
You got a goodass deal on the fuel rails so Im with the seller here. ILK is right this website is whiny low baller central. [ November 02, 2007, 08:00 PM: Message edited by: TuxMask-Andy ]

Yeah I did fix the rails with some good high pressure fuel injection hose, and good quality stainless clamps. Not some half ass shit that was on them. But the point is that I shouldn't of had to waste 2 hours of my day fixing some fuel rails that I was under the impression were in good shape and ready to run!!!!!

Your boy needs to learn how to package something being sent out AND tell the actual fucking condition of the item that's being sent.....
Ass hole sellers are what's bad about the site. They seem to be coming out the closet lately.

Unfortunate but true...... by the way, you wont find any janky shit on those spindles and they are packaged so Ace Ventura hopefully couldn't break them! [ November 02, 2007, 11:15 PM: Message edited by: asskickn88 ]

Ha Ha ace ventura!!!!! Thanks asskickn88, hidnn.o.s I know all the good members on here would take my side.
You know what I had a chance to sleep on it. I'm just going to drop this matter. I'm not sending the rails back. I fixed them, they will work. Just was a litte disappointed in this guy as a seller and thought that the other members should know about it. Thats all

I have pretty much given up on buying used parts from people, simply because for the most part it seems that people don't really give a shit about anything other than getting $$ in their own pockets.
With that said, I've had many good transactions both here and on other sites, but in the future, unless you exchange parts face-to-face, I don't see how it can be worth it to risk the money, time, and aggravation from getting stiffed.
