Am I crazy if I wanted to trade my 95 GT, 5 spd, coupe (Minus the wheels, & suspension goodies), for a super clean 86 GT t top, 5 spd, with mass air & 5 lug swap.... I know to most its a downgrade, but I absolutely love 4 eyed T top hatchbacks....what do u think????

really depends on your taste. personally, i would keep your car as it looks pretty clean and still a 5.0.

dont get me wrong that 86 gt is very clean i know since my friend used to owned it and helped him work on it but since he sold it that car/engine when to shit since they mess up the combo that it had it in, so now it pretty much a stock engine in it. i would just keep your car since u dont see that many clean yellow gt's around like yours.

I dont need another stang, if I get a 3rd car it needs to be a 4 banger LOL!!!!! Plus Im already broke from owning two stangs currently....
I love my sn95, but this is my 4th SN, & ive never owned a fox, so it would be a nice change & like I said 4 eyeds are my favorite Fox's, even though most people hate them....

Honestly I would say keep the car you have now. If you are going to get rid of it then use that money toward the mach and any problems it has.

I dont wanna sell my 95, I just saw a particular Stang I wouldnt mind trading it 4, but Im still gonna have 2 stangs no matter what...Thanks 4 the advice though.....

That 4eye is a really nice car. I wish I had the money to get it. But as far as your car goes, that looks great too. And its just as rare to see a nice sn like yours as it is to see a nice 4eye. But just because you still have the 5.0, I'd stick with what you got.
Plus foxes get stolen all the time. I'm sure you got a garage, but you don't got it when you take your car out in public.

I like that grey one, it looks really clean in the pictures. I'd go and check it out, drive it, and see if I liked it better than the sn95. Sounds like you might like to think about it for a couple days after that becuase you're yellow one looks like a clean ride too. I'd probably do it if I could get some cash back tho.

Thanks guys...yes i do have a garage, but theft is something to worry about with a fox....I still love my car, but that 86 just has that old school look & feel to it....I definately need to think about this one...
Do u think if I put my suspension back to stock & took the wheels off, that it would be an even trade if the car is as clean as it looks in the pics & it runs good???? My car still has a brand new King cobra, MM cc plates, New MSD cap & rotor, wires, & plugs & new brake pads all the way around & new rear rotors.....Plus i would be throwing on my stock Mach 1 wheels since I dont want to throw in the 03 Cobra's.....

god id trade that sn95 with a quickness,lol I use to hate 4 eyes and now i love them so much because they are rare and most people get the 87-93 look. I wish i had the extra cash and space but i already have 3 mustangs in the famliy so ![[Frown]](frown.gif) dont get me wrong your sn95 looks clean,but i think the wheels is what makes it diffrent than other sn95's which makes yours really nice,what rims are those by the way if you dont mind? . I really dont dig sn95, but we got one too.lol Good luck,both clean cars!

If you really want a fox go for it. Personally I think your yelllow GT is a looker and I;d keep it.
I would do fox body if I was going to build an uber fast street car though.

thank u.....They are deep dish 03 Cobra replica prototypes from WheelReplica's...not many of em out there....
I also 4got to mention that my 95 only has 82,XXX miles on it so its still a virgin & was bonestock 4 months ago when i got it....

You are crazy but do what you want. If you like the 4 eyes better then trade it but i think the 94-98 models are the best besides classics.

I don't know Dustin... That 86 is pretty sick. I'm not sure how much you have invested into your GT, but its rare that you see a clean 86 on the road these days. I think that 86 would get my attention on the road more than your GT. No offence, your GT is as nice as it gets. But you already have a sweet SN95 Mach1.
I say mix it up a little if its as nice in person and a good running car.
