Just wanted to remember Charlie Bruno, and Charlie's Mustangs. His shop did good work for me a few years ago.
My '82 Mercury Capri 5.0 was stolen from Mountain View and recovered a week later without an engine (no great loss.) But I kind of liked the car because it was a little different than the Mustangs. So I had it towed to Charlie's shop and asked if he could do a FI 5.0 conversion. He and another employee (Bruce?) spent a few weeks installing a 91 engine/driveline complete and all new suspension parts, the list went on for pages. I still drive it daily and it is truly a sweet road car. I have gotten 25mpg on the highway while averaging 75mph. It handles very good and is still very tight feeling. It now has 96k miles. I'v only put about 10k since the conversion. The paint and body are still original and it deserves a good repaint. Unfortunately family needs require that the car needs to go to make room for a minivan. I know, it kills me. If anybody is interested in this car, let me know.
RIP Charlie Bruno....

I remember charlie well and had several dealings with him before he passed.
RIP
As for your capri, advertise it in the ford sale secion and craigslist/ebay.
I am sure matt castro will swoop on it if it is a good deal. I cant speak for him, but it is worth a shot.

Charlie was a fine man and did great work. He also had some really good help that later went on to work for and run there own sucessfull business's. He was very much a pioneer in the 5.0 mustang scene. I liked the safety, handling, and reliability FIRST approach he had.
