I just finished washing my car after leaving to sit outside for two weeks. When I finished I noticed that my entire hood has all these stains in the paint that I couuldn't get out. They look like really big water spots. I tried clay and also a mild polish that I have but neither had any effect. Any suggestions on how to fix this?? It makes my paint look like shit [Mad]

I tried to take a pic of the problem, hopefully you guys will get the idea.

looks like u have been washing in the sun or not drying very good. try a little rubbing compound something light(fine) like 3m and make sure its liquid and not that turtle wax paste crap from kragen cause then u will be asking how to get out swirl marks! u may also try a little hand glaze afterwards to bring the shine back. and u may have to invest in a cheap multispeed polisher.

I haven't been washing/drying my car in the sun. I always do it in a carport. I think what it's from is from leaving the car outside near our complex's lawn where the sprinklers got the car wet and then the following days it was pretty hot. So the water was left there to dry on the car. The one time I was too lazy to cover the car up [Mad] oh well.....

Thanks for the advice though, I'll give those a try [patriot]
